Etiquette & FAQ

Etiquette

Courtesy first. Everything else follows.

Most of what follows you may already know but I still suggest you read the details. Kindness and respect is the key to a successful date or dates on an ongoing basis. Clarity is a courtesy of its own, so, a few specifics!

Your introduction is your first impression, make it count with a detailed introduction so I get a sense of who you are and if we will be a good fit. A shower is always available on arrival, and always taken; declining it ends the evening, and any references you later ask of me will hear why. Arrive manscaped and beyond that, bring a friendly demeanour and an open mind!

I protect your privacy the way I protect my own, and I ask the same in return. Over dinner, think of us as good company and nothing more; the rest is to be savoured beautifully behind closed doors. I prefer not to draw unnecessary attention in cities where many friends, family, and colleagues frequent.

Questions, answered

How do I begin?

Its easy! A thoughtful note through the enquiry page; the form asks the right questions. Messages with care in them are answered. Vague ones are not.

Will I be screened?

Yes, always! Screening protects us both and is handled with complete discretion; whatever you share is used once, never stored and never shared.

The envelope and payment methods?

Presented at the start of our time, unsealed, somewhere on the counter, and ideally not discussed. Having to ask disrupts the natural flow of the date (and will leave me feeling uncomfortable until I have to) so please don’t make me. For those who prefer digital, an e-transfer is welcome and preferred, sent ahead, with the password shared during our date. Bitcoin can be arranged by conversation. PayPal, Venmo, ect are a no for me.

How do I become a favourite or someone you are excited to see?

Funnily enough, I get asked this a lot!

  • Be a gentleman, be positive, engage in conversation.
  • Respecting me and my time is a huge one; I often have other plans pre-scheduled around my dates.
  • Be concise with booking, my favourites prebook, they don’t continuously email last minute, and if booking requires more than a few emails, they typically provide extra as they respect my time. It’s not typical to take 10+ emails to have a date scheduled.
  • A little (or a lot) of spoiling and pampering is always nice- what woman doesn’t love being spoiled? I love good food, nice dinners and I love gifts.

My favourites get the longer answers, the first word when I travel, and a version of me that first meetings only hint at. It is a short list, and there is room on it. 😉

Deposits? Running late?

A deposit confirms every meeting and is credited to our time. It will be sent to a discreet business email. If you are running late, I won’t be able to extend our time as I work out of a shared space and have reserved this time for you in my calendar. I often plan my days carefully and intentionally in advance, and will have other plans.

How quickly do you reply?

With care rather than speed, usually within a few days to a week. If it’s a shorter notice booking and a few days pass, do follow up; the occasional note wanders into spam, and polite persistence is never held against you. If it’s farther out, please give me some additional time before following up. When I’m travelling wait times will be longer.

Can we meet on short notice?

Sometimes, especially if you are visiting for travel! I otherwise plan ahead by preference and my calendar rewards those who do the same, but when a free day/evening and a well-written note coincide, I am definitely open to spontaneity. A reference or a LinkedIn ready to go makes these way more feasible.

What if I want more time, can I extend?

Book the hours you actually would like; I plan my evenings around them. If our time is running out and you find yourself wishing it were not, ask. When my calendar allows, extending is a genuine pleasure. Lingering without asking is the one habit I never forget.

How discreet is this? Is screening mandatory?

Fully! Discretion here is not a promise; it is a habit, kept in both directions. Being a member of the professional world, I am likely more paranoid than you! Hence the heavy blurring. I ask for the same quiet care I give. As providers we are in a vulnerable position, and screening is purely for safety. Being paranoid about being robbed, harmed or threatened is not conducive to creating the connection needed on a first date.

If in the small chance I happen to know you, I will just not respond and never say a word, nor will I judge you. This is also why screening is so important. Imagine showing up to the door and it being a family member, family friend or co-worker?

Trust me, it’s better to avoid that discomfort entirely and pretend it never happened.

May I see your face?

The answer is a warm, permanent no, sorry! I keep my face offline for the same reason I guard your name: discretion is the core of this entire arrangement.

Will you message with me between dates? Do you take phone calls?

While I am open to texting or monthly packages, I have a busy schedule and want to savour my energy for dates. Lightness is what keeps this lovely and fun for both of us. Please no calls at any time.

Do you travel?

Yes, I love to! Just give me reasonable notice for anywhere an airport is involved.

Can dinner follow our time together?

I adore a dinner that follows a slow evening, and it remains our time; simply book a length that holds both. The Long Evening exists for exactly this.

Do you take outfit requests?

Happily, given much notice and as long as I still have it! Tell me the picture in your head when you book, not right before the date. I even moreso love when you BUY me outfits if you have a specific fantasy in mind ;).

Do you only do this? How did you find your way here?

Nope! There is a business of my own and a master’s on the go; this is the part of my life I keep for pleasure, and I genuinely enjoy it. How I found my way here is a story for dinner;), and I’d love to hear your story also!

Gifts?

I love gifts and being spoiled. I have a sweet tooth, a weakness for good books, art, good wine, and most of all experiences. More ideas for gifts here.

Nervous? Don’t be! I’m honestly super easy to get along with.
